The shoulder width is measured from the outer, upper sleeve seam to the other.

The sleeve length is also measured from the top outer seam to the end.

The waist size is measured from the outer seam once from left to right.

The chest width is measured horizontally from the armpit to the armpit.

The back length is measured vertically from the collar seam to the end of the waistband.

The waist circumference is simply measured from left to right and multiplied by 2.
