Heinz Bär WW2 Luftwaffe
The Heinz Bär Jacket, a tribute and exact replica from the famous fighter pilot of the 51st Luftwaffe division, Heinrich "Pritzl" Bär.
Bär was credited with 208 aerial victories and in 18 seperate occasions he survived being shot down.
Using an original jacket from our private collection we have recreated it down to each small detail.
On the outside of the
jacket you will find two horizontical breast pockets sewn in with
original Ritsch zippers.
There are two hand pockets situated at a 45
degree angle and inside are two pockets, one open and one closeable
with the Ritsch zipper.
These deep pockets were used to carry a
Luger/Mauser service pistols and and map/navigation cards.

Outstanding craftsmanship and 100% steer hide material exude durability and timeless style. The sewn-in elastic band in the lower back adds a nice touch of shape and comfort. The warm plaid inner lining is practical and aesthetically pleasing, making this jacket perfect for colder weather.
One of my favorite features is the two horizontal breast pockets with original Ritsch zippers and the strategically angled hand pockets. These enhance the jacket's authenticity and offer practical storage spaces. The inner pockets, one open and one closable, are a convenient addition, reflecting their historical use for service pistols and navigation cards.
Overall, this jacket is a fantastic homage to Heinz Bär and a great addition to my collection. Whether you're a history buff or appreciate high-quality, historically-informed fashion, this jacket is an exceptional choice. I highly recommend it!
