Museums Bomber Edition
Inspired
by the original Irvin, RAF Jacket, the B-3, Museums Bomber is
an American variation of
the B3.
This was worn in 1942 during World War 2 by Bomber Pilots of
the Boeing
B-17 Flying Fortress, who
had to stand and operate heavy duty weaponry during flight.
The
horsehide patches were added for extra protection of the leather, the
seams were also re-enfored and strengthened.

As with anything hand made they are truly one of a kind , with subtle neuances that set them apart from off-the rack and mass produced jackets. The attention to detail is second to none. The customer service department went above and beyond their job to make sure my order was placed and the jacket was delivered on time and to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I can not say anything but GREAT! It it a heavy, real and beutifull hand made jacket.
I am slim and tall though because of the adjusteble sides at the waste it fits like a glove.
The materials are real and tastefull but also really strong and durable. I also own a PME Pall Mall Legend 'pilot jacket' with full sheep lining but that more expensive (650,- euro) jakcet is nothing compared to this Museums Bomber!
Let the winter come in the Netherlands, please so cold as possible because I am ready for it!
